What we collect

Care enquiries. Your name, telephone number, email address, the postcode where support is needed, which branch you selected, whether you are enquiring for yourself or someone else, and whatever you write in the message box.

Professional referrals. Your name, role, organisation, work contact details, the postcode of the person you are enquiring about, and a broad description of the support required.

Job applications. Your name, telephone number, email address, preferred branch, the role you are interested in, your CV, and any cover note.

Newsletter. Your email address only.

Website usage. Standard technical information such as pages visited and how you arrived, collected through cookies. See the cookie banner for the choices available to you.

Health and other sensitive information

Our forms ask you not to send medical records, diagnoses, medication lists or safeguarding reports. A website form is not a secure or appropriate route for that information, and we do not need it to answer an initial enquiry.

If you send sensitive information anyway, we will handle it confidentially and remove it from the website system once the enquiry has been dealt with. Where detailed information is genuinely needed, we will agree a secure route with you first.

Why we use your information, and on what basis

We use enquiry information to respond to you and to work out whether we can help. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to someone who has contacted us asking about care.

We use job application information to consider you for a role. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

We send the newsletter only where you have asked us to, and you can unsubscribe from any message.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a care agreement, confirm availability, or mean a referral has been accepted.

Who sees it

Enquiries are sent to our team at the branch you selected. We also use service providers who necessarily process information on our behalf — our website host and our email provider. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

[CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: retention periods for care enquiries, professional referrals, unsuccessful job applications and CVs, and newsletter subscribers. These must reflect what Healing Hands actually does before they are published.]

Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email info@healinghandscaresolutions.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you raised it with us first so we can put it right.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection and access to enquiries is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, which is why we ask you not to send sensitive information through the website.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top.

This website is not monitored as an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger call 999. For urgent medical advice that is not life-threatening, call NHS 111.
